Optics

  • Laser quality, front surface aluminum mirror. Dimensions are 6" by 4" (152mm X 102mm) by 0.12" thick (3mm), and weigh 116 grams. They have a protective plastic sheet covering the aluminum mirror surface. Peel off before use.
  • High quality German made beam expander / collimating lens system, focusable and adjustable from 2x to 8x magnification. The anti-reflective coatings are optimized for 633 to 980nm.  Dimensions are 150mm long by 42mm dia. max. Mounting dia. (center section) is 37.6mm. .
  • New, high quality corner cube (trihedral) prism mfg. by pyramid optical. Also called a retroreflector, this prism will reflect light back to its orgin regardless of the orientation of the prism face. Dimensions are 2.7" diameter x 1.6" deep with blacked back.
  • New retroreflector (Trihedral Prism) Designed to reflect any beam of light, regardless of the orientation of the prism face, back to its origin. This is a high quality custom optic Mfg. by Tyrolit Co. It has the apex flattened, polished, and an infrared pass filter bonded to it. The filter passes light longer than ~820nm. The filter can be remove with a heat gun to reveal a triangle shaped aperture with .575" sides. Dimensions of the cube is 2.9" Dia. x 1.42" Depth (including IR filter).

  • Melles Griot model 05-FDS-207 fiber optic laser beam delivery system in factory box. This model is designed for peak efficiency at 633nm but will also work well with Yellow and Orange HeNe lasers .  It produces a well collimated beam and maintains polarization. This is a used, tested system.

    System includes:

    • Kinematic fiber launch with standard laser head mount
    • 1 meter fiber optic cable with pre-aligned optics

  • New Optcast plastic infrared pass filter. Applications for this filter include, discriminating light for a detector circuit, or hiding a video camera behind it for covert operation. Not recommended for filtering an incandescent light source.

  • A good assortment of 10 different lenses, including a cylindrical type that is used in line generating laser systems.

    Position adjustable mirror assembly ideal for light shows, laser perimeter security fence, or general laser experiments. The mirror is a laser quality, 6" x 4" (152 x 102mm) front surface aluminum on a .12" (3mm) thick glass substrate. There is a protective plastic layer on it that should be removed before use. The adjustable mount is a molded, UV stable, plastic with a ball and socket that is held firm with a cinch nut. The whole unit will mount to a flat surface or 1.125" (28.6mm) diameter pipe. Assembly required You will need to glue the ball to the mirror base with the cinch nut in place and glue the mirror to the mount.
